Integrated water system in Crestholme
At this Crestholme property in Durban’s Upper Highway area, Tank’D Water Solutions brought rainwater harvesting, municipal backup, filtration and sterilisation together in a combined integrated water system. The installation incorporates two 2,500-litre tanks and an existing 2,750-litre tank, giving a total nominal storage capacity of 7,750 litres.

Building on existing storage
The existing 2,750-litre tank became part of a larger storage arrangement alongside the two 2,500-litre tanks. This added 5,000 litres of tank capacity while retaining a tank already at the property.
Rainwater harvesting and municipal backup
The combined system includes rainwater harvesting, municipal backup, filtration and sterilisation. The photographs show the three tanks positioned alongside the house, the roof-water collection pipework and the connections between the tanks.
