Tank’D was born out of the need to provide solutions to a basic services crisis we find ourselves in. We are all aware the impact load shedding has had on us and our businesses in South Africa. The lack of a reliable source of clean water will dwarf the electricity crisis. Water is a basic commodity that every living creature needs in order to survive. As we find our municipal services crumbling we need to rely less on these services and start planning for ourselves. Municipal backup storage and rain water harvesting are two methods of ensuring a reliable source of clean water.
In the pages on this site you will find three basic systems we offer. A municipal backup storage system, rain water harvesting and a fully integrated system which combines both of these systems. Systems can be tailor made to suit your needs based on usage and availability of rain water.
Water is fast becoming a scarce commodity, not only is South Africa, but across the globe. As water becomes less available, we need to change our habits in water use, storage and harvesting.
